Bundaberg Regional Galleries are two vibrant gallery spaces dedicated to providing premier arts and cultural experiences in the Bundaberg Region. Bundaberg Regional Galleries fosters the community’s creative capacity by providing art and culture opportunities, and creating a community that participates, engages and grows in the lifelong learning of the arts. Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery and Childers Arts Space are located in the hearts of Bundaberg and Childers respectively, with easy access for visitors.

Both gallery spaces boast a year-round program of local, touring and national art exhibitions, visiting artists, workshops, artist talks, educational programs, kids activities, guided tours, gift shop facilities, public outreach programs and much more. Childers Arts Space shares the gallery space with the Palace Backpackers Memorial.

I Know a Place | Dead Puppet Society

From April, Dead Puppet Society's installation I Know A Place will be on display at Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery. I Know A Place invites audiences to celebrate the regions they call home, by recognising special places. This participatory installation combines quiet contemplation with a delightful, hands-on art activity; a unique and rewarding interaction for locals and visitors alike.

_land | Dylan Sarra

15 Sep 2025 _land is a solo exhibition by Taribelang Bunda and Gooreng Gooreng artist, Dylan Sarra. Based on research conducted through his First Nations Fellowship with Queensland Museum, _land explores the juxtaposition of Gregory Blaxland's settlement in the Bundaberg region during the mid 19th century and the thriving Aboriginal community that had existed on these lands for thousands of years.
